- What bike(s) do you currently own? Trek XO2, Madone 5.9 and SuperFly
- What size of wheels do you prefer 26, 29, or both? Why? 29er because they plain and simple just float over objects better.
- You’re favorite trail and its location? The Chutes in Colorado Springs. Pure bliss after a nice long climb.
- How many years have you been riding? And how many years racing? Riding and racing both for 5 years.
- What type of racing is your specialty? (XC, Endurance, CX, Road, ect). Why? I don’t really have a specific type of racing that I prefer. As long as I am on two wheels and racing I am having fun.
- Do you have any pre-race rituals or preferred meals? Does using the bathroom count?
- During a race what Energy and Fluid Replacement products do you use? All about GU. Currently hooked on GU Brew, flavor Blueberry Pomegranate.
- You’re favorite song or band? Currently on the iPod is Pretty Lights, Pantyraid, and some other funky electronic bands.
- You’re favorite movie? Currently enjoying documentaries such as The Art of the Steal, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Countdown to Zero.
- You’re favorite foods? Mexican…the authentic stuff, out of a building that probably doesn’t pass health code inspections.
- Any other hobbies besides cycling? Still have a strong passion for graphic design and art so from time to time I dabble in the arts.
- Why should someone take up cycling as a new hobby? Everyone should have some sort of exercise; studies show for every minute you exercise you add two more minutes to your life! So why not get on a bike and have fun and live longer!
