  1. What bike(s) do you currently own? Trek XO2, Madone 5.9 and SuperFly
  2. What size of wheels do you prefer 26, 29, or both? Why? 29er because they plain and simple just float over objects better.
  3. You’re favorite trail and its location? The Chutes in Colorado Springs. Pure bliss after a nice long climb.
  4. How many years have you been riding? And how many years racing? Riding and racing both for 5 years.
  5. What type of racing is your specialty? (XC, Endurance, CX, Road, ect). Why? I don’t really have a specific type of racing that I prefer. As long as I am on two wheels and racing I am having fun.
  6. Do you have any pre-race rituals or preferred meals? Does using the bathroom count?
  7. During a race what Energy and Fluid Replacement products do you use? All about GU. Currently hooked on GU Brew, flavor Blueberry Pomegranate.
  8. You’re favorite song or band? Currently on the iPod is Pretty Lights, Pantyraid, and some other funky electronic bands.
  9. You’re favorite movie? Currently enjoying documentaries such as The Art of the Steal, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Countdown to Zero.
  10. You’re favorite foods? Mexican…the authentic stuff, out of a building that probably doesn’t pass health code inspections.
  11. Any other hobbies besides cycling? Still have a strong passion for graphic design and art so from time to time I dabble in the arts.
  12. Why should someone take up cycling as a new hobby? Everyone should have some sort of exercise; studies show for every minute you exercise you add two more minutes to your life! So why not get on a bike and have fun and live longer!
